Safa el Samad is coming to Gadigal land for an exhibition @ Suite7a in Haymarket! Opening Thursday November 21st 2024. 

Safa will also be available for 1 hour booking slots on Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd, Sunday 24th November from 2 - 9pm. 

Pls pay a deposit, select pick up in store and then we will be in touch to make a time. The deposit will be taken on off the final co$t.

Prices range from $45 - $65 per flash design 

There are two complementary designs 'فلسطين حرة'
(Free Palestine) + 'The colony will fall' that you can get when you embroidery any other flash. (Limit of 1 per person.) 

Suitable garments include medium - to heavy weight t-shirts, shirts, jackets, hoodies, jumpers, jeans, most pants (If you’re unsure bring some options or contact me in advance.)

No hats

Make sure your garments are clean and not crinkled.

Consider bringing something unloved or with a stain or hole.

Safa El Samad is a multidisciplinary artist and fashion designer with a passion for upcycling objects and garments destined for landfill. Recently, she designed the uniforms for the 9th Mpavilion and earned a Master's in Architecture from Monash University. 

Safa operates her brand ‘Soof’ out of Schoolhouse studio. Soof invites anyone to bring in old, unloved garments for revitalisation in order to mitigate the textiles from ending up in landfill and provide a sentimental attachment to the garment not found in mass produced clothing. She also loves engaging with community and creating awareness about the ongoing genocide in Palestine.
